Uconnect text message mute volume

Is there a way to mute the voice reading of the person's name for text messages when having your phone hooked up via Bluetooth. I've searched high and low through the setting with no luck. The issue is the hvac gets cut and music. Its very annoying when someone sends many text messages in a row.
