Uconnect disconnected CarPlay often

Seems like going under overpasses, tunnels or heavily wooded areas my CarPlay disconnects. Recently when I use the VR button on my steering wheel it will occasionally cut out too. I notice it won’t reconnect when my phone is plugged in and not charging. Used to think it was a faulty usb-c hub but wireless connection has same issue. Really would like to ditch the Uconnect for something different.

my 2022 would randomly drop connection (Android). It seem to have sorted itself out over a few months.

This new 2024 is doing the same thing...... LOL

have the same issues with the 2024 connect 12" unit. does it on some part around the city or on the highway

Mine (Android) disconnects in very specific places, and very consistently. It makes me wonder what kind of interference is flowing around in the wind when I drive past those spots. I thought maybe it was my 4 year old phone, but it happens just as much on my brand new Pixel. Who knows
