Downloaded your file to a 4GB drive and plugged in to USB port under screen, turn on ignition.. nothing happens? What step am i missing here?

yes fresh reformat to fat32. maybe a crap usb. will try a different one

You are 4 updates behind. Here’s the newest update if you want to do it yourself.
4-16GB usb formatted to fat32. Do not unzip anything, just put the whole zipped file onto the usb, and plug it in.

UC5 12” and 8.4” WITH NAV use the same radio module, so same software.
UC5 8.4 non nav is different software.

Well got that update to work, was hoping maybe it would help with some of the many glitches this thing has but nothing different so far. :/

Yea.. or pull the radio fuse and plug it back in I think its F44 if I remember correctly.
