That’s the non nav 8.4 UC5, and it uses different software than the nav units. The 12” and 8.4” nav Uconnect 5 radios, which are referring to in this thread, use the same software between the 2022 ram HD’s and 5th gen 1500’s.Where are you all seeing those version numbers? I know what 2 things I am checking on the way home!Uconnect 5 8.4 NAV Updated yesterday on it's own. My trial Sirius (truck is 2 months old) doesn't work now, and it doesn't recognize the USB port.

Try resetting from the menu. Seems that doesn’t lose any settings in my experience.I haven't tried to reset it.
I have given up hope that one update can fix Uconnect 5. Get in today and hit my app button to look at weather and apps comes up for 1 second and then goes to screen with temp settings and seat settings. Shut truck off and same thing. Get in it 4 hours later and app button works but weather app says try again. Same problem but mine goes to nav screen or theme setting screen. It is also beyond slow now.
This is modern software development in a nutshell; Thing have gotten extremely complicated - between information and the user experience to interact with it. Teams aren't given enough time or resources to finish and properly test. This is happening from enterprise development all the way down to game development. Pretty disappointing to be honest. Seems to be the way with everything now though. Companies send out a half-assed version of stuff and then try to get it working as they go. Wish we would get paid or at least a discount to beta test for all these companies.
Worst part is it didn't fix any of the problems I was having and made new ones. I still lose all the icons and info at the top of my screen and have to reset themes to get them back. Hi rossagge,Any progress on on this? I got a new Android phone and tried to get it to connect to AA and nada! My previous Android, no prob, other than the constant disconnect and reconnect. BT works fine though. As it should.

For CarPlay at least, The issue is within the software of the head unit - it does it even while plugged in and wireless CarPlay disabled.I'll be using a wired connection for AA until the workers issues are resolved.

That sucks. Been a day now. Traveled around and no issues connected to USB. I did find that AA was detecting WiFi and would automatically turn it on.
