Why, on page 5 of my build sheet, under optional equipment, does it reference DUAL 730 Amp manitenance free batteries? I don't recall this being part of the order .... Is this actually a thing ? I ask because it does not appear on my window sticker.

Have had dual batteries for a long time. My 97 12 valve had dual batteries. Which was my first diesel and wouldn't mind having that truck back. Well maybe just the engine, the interior and ride weren't the best in 97 !!

I definitely don't make 'em like they used to.

Cool until you have to replace them!
I was having issues with the wifi working on my 2020. If you have issues with it and the system is up to date, you can see if you can change the password. If you cannot change the password, you have to disconnect both batteries and de-energize the system. Then hook it back up and bingo, your wifi will work again and not trip to the dealership. A nice trick I learned out in a field. Keep a tool kit in your truck for little things like this. It has 2 or 3 different size bolts on them. IDK about 2022 yet, but I bet it is the same.

Excellent tip brother

I had a single battery on my old 1991 D250/Cummins. It started fine that way. With no crank sensor, the engine would start on the 1st or second compression stroke.
Wish I still had it.
