TRX 1500 Red Start Button - no lights in HD trucks

I installed the Red TRX start button in my 2500. In the HD trucks the OFF/ACC/RUN lights do not function. The wiring harness is the same as it plugs right in and and it functions just like the HD button for controlling start/stop/accessory. Perhaps somebody with wiring info or CANBUS info can determine why the lights do not work in the HD trucks? The wiring or signal for the OFF/ACC/RUN light is apprantly different between 1500 and 2500 ....

Nice ! I actually didn't know it was a known issue until I had already installed it and started researching ....

I did the same. didn't bother me since the factory illumination was so dim.
