Transmission cooler

I previously used a Tru cool max 40 transmission cooler on my chevrolet avalanche. It really kept the trans under 200 while towing, usually in the 150-170f range above 85f ambient.

Has anyone installed one on a 2021 ram? Will if fit?

It’s an HD truck I’m pretty sure it has one. There setup to tow. I have the 6.4 hemi with the 8 speed and towing in the mtns on a 85 degree plus day the highest I’ve seen is 174 degrees. What truck do you have?

What are you driving(engine/trans/gear combo)? What are you towing? What are you seeing for temps?

My 3.73/8spd Hemi tows a pretty good sized TT and I haven't seen over 172 I don't think.....of course it is pretty flat in these parts.

Its new , picked it up today. Have not towed with it yet. 2021 2500 tradesman 6.4 8 speed 4:10 rear. My travel trailer is 7k.

That’s a good setup you should have no problem towing whatever you want. What are you planning on towing?

Never mind I didn’t read all of it. That’s about what my travel trailer weighs and it does it no problem. BTW I have 3.73 gears
