Transfer Tank Leak

Need some suggestions on how to get this GPI tranfer pump to stop leaking. The issue is the 2 inch npt adapter that screws into the tank destroys the thread tape and any thread sealant. So far I've tried the following
*yellow gas tape
* blue monster 1 inch wide thread tape
*Hercules Pipe dope
*blue monster pipe dope

I've tried every combo. Thread tape with pipe dope. Just pipe dope. Just thread tape and no luck. I've tried 3 wraps to 10 plus wraps for tape. The diesel leaks out of the threads with any combo. Any suggestions would be appreciated. Thanks

In my experience with installing pipe as a fitter I would replace the npt adapter with a new one. The threads may be cut too deep. Typically if they are it doesn't matter how much tape, dope, dope and tape you throw at it, it will still leak.

Im surprised who built that tank put the fuel pump at the lowest spot...
