Sadly
I agree it should be able to be digitally adjusted but to do that would require that the software tools are built into the system or external tools to do that. If they don’t exist the. The only way would be tweaking the mirrors and / or cameras.
I tow a little, not a ton like some folks do but more than many. I have yet to use that camera view. I certainly wouldn’t delay delivery of my truck for it but that is your choice. Just be prepared for an answer that says we can’t change / adjust it. You need to decide if it is a deal breaker.
I’d be surprised if it is something that is actually checked at the factory because it’s not something they would adjust so why check. They probably build them, check that the cameras work and that is it.
Seems to me that it is delivering what you need. You see both cameras at once and can see in those field of views. The images not being aligned doesn’t change that functionality. I’m not sure I would have even expected that they would be, I’m hooking up a trailer today, I’ll look at mine :/)

Sadly it's more then just those cameras. Am I being picky, yes. But that is just one of the problems I'm having, the others are not mechanical, it's dealer and brand related. Rams have always been high quality trucks for me.
Without going to far off topic, I purchased a new 2500 Laramie last year, found out the payload would not suffice. With under 500 miles on it, I traded it in taking the hit for a 3500. When building it I asked the sales rep to make it the exact same as my 2500 with the addition of adding a long bed and the air suspension.
When the 3500 came into the dealership I immediately noticed the fender flares were not there. The sales people told me they were in the truck, that they would install them. Turns out Ram took them off the Laramie line and the dealership had no clue. Next was the digital rearview mirror, it wasn't there. I asked the sales people, they had no clue and told me to contact ram customer care. Well they're a joke, they're missing the "care" part.
Customer care told me to contact the dealer, I told customer care, the dealer had no idea why the digital mirror was not included to contact them. Customer Care said they would have a Stellantis rep contact me within a business day. Two days came and went without contact. I emailed that agent again requesting how to proceed, no response.
This past Wednesday, I called customer care and they looked at the file, again telling me I had to talk to the dealership, I explained they didn't know and i was told to contact them. Again I was told I would get a follow-up call within 2 days. I confirmed with the rep, "Two days, so by this Friday?", She says yes. Yesterday came and went and still no call.
I know I'm probably at the losing end of this, however I'm not going down without a fight. I'm a dumb consumer and maybe it was in the fine print somewhere that the digital rearview mirror was not included anymore. I'm not trained on what's included in what packages, but when I requested the same options and packages, that's what I expect. The sales experts should have informed me, the dumb consumer, one, it was not included, or two, it'll be available again sometime this spring.
Now that I got far off topic, I hope you can understand why I'm being so picky. I was failed by customer care, misinformed by the dealership, and a victim of Ram cheapening the brand. I took a loss upgrading from my 2500, not to mention the ridiculous inflation of vehicle prices this year, and Ram deciding to remove a safety feature I was expecting and used. Why even remove it as an option for a few months?!
