Tradesman Grill Trim

Beautiful truck! This is exactly the route that I will be going with a Tradesman. Stock PW flares look real good. Don't bother with color matching in my opinion.

No issues at all. The hood badges are actually the easiest because they are secured with clips and just pop on and off.

Finished up the dechroming with new grill lettering920B1B97-2075-4444-83D1-C568DD242038.jpeg2682DA6D-1753-48FB-A91F-9D590EFECAD3.jpeg. I ordered the black RAM grill lettering off of EBay, painted with Rustoleum Cherry, and then attached black RAM stickers from Reflective Concepts.

Looks great and I like the direction you decided to go with the look. For anyone else who like his idea and wants a similar outcome but on a budget. I have had good luck in the past taking the chrome clad decals/emblems, using a scotch brite pad and lightly scuffing them up. Then spray them with an adhesive promoter primer and then your paint color of choice. I did this on the door decals on by Tacoma several years ago. It worked really good and held up great. i reapplied them with 3m tape. It may add a few steps but might save you some money if need be.

I thought about doing the same, but I didn’t want to go through the hassle of taking the entire grill off to remove the letters without damaging them. If you pry them off from the front you’ll certainly destroy the clips.
