I own an f-600 2021 factory ordered, almost every box checked and a 2021 ram 5500 which had most of what I wanted, but not everything.
Ford allows folding mirrors, ram 5500 no.
Ford 10 speed, constant down shifting and if you think it uses the exhaust break it was probably the wind. Ram on the other hand in tow haul exhaust break can throw you forward when it kicks in, transmission on the highway way better.
Ford highest trim in f-600 xlt, still have a physical key, awful headlights, cluster is awful, not even a def guage on main screen, but it shows me a turbo guage (don't care). Infotainment is stupid as well.
Ram is an slt, so technically a similar trim, but miles ahead of Ford, heated seats, steering wheel, keyless start, headlights are night and day better, cluster customization is wonderful as my truck always tows or hauls.
Ford has more dead pedal off the line, more power in the middle, less power towing heavy on the highway though. Ford has struggled in situations where the ram was able to pull better with a similar weight.
Ford 10 sp loves to get to 10th as fast as possible, hates to downshift when needed. Exception is when you have cruise set on the highway you hit the accelerator to go a mile or two over to pass somebody, take your foot off and it drops 2-3 gears to slow you down only a mile or two over your cruise, it's just stupid.
Ford was a regular cab, 22k lbs
Ram was a crew cab with 19.5k lbs
Ram was 5% cheaper, not apples to apples in configuration though. I only got the Ford because I wanted the 22k lbs capacity, looking back I should have sacrificed some weight and went with another ram.
I also owned a 2020 Chevy high country 3500 drw, worst decision in the last 2 years for trucks.
