Has anyone found a way to disable traction control all the way? Either when I want or permanently? I’m getting quite tired of it.
Was up in the mountains in the snow and I was going up a steep/icy hill. A buddy behind me got stuck so I stopped and after we got him out and turned around I started creeping back in neutral to a good spot to turn around. Got to the point he got stuck and discovered the pure ice and started sliding back. I was in 4x4 with the traction control “off”. I threw it into drive and floored it to slow the slide down and to my disappointment the nanny traction control was still trying to slow my tire slippage!!! Luckily it did enough and stopped the truck before it slid off the bank into the trees but I was fairly pissed anyway.
Sometimes I just want to spin the tires!!!
Can Alfa disable it permanently? Is there some button combination to disable it 100% when I want to?
