TPMS (TIS) sensors for trailer (SOLVED - see 1st post) aka TTPMS - Trailer TPMS

Anyone have luck securing the gateway module? I just got notification that it is on backorder without an estimated availability date.
Gateway Module - Mopar (68404893AB)

I just called and checked availability with MoparWholesaleParts.com , and they show 68404893AB is on back order until after July.

Hey guys. The wiring jumper harness (part #68412666AA) was on backorder so I bought one from a member here. Guess what? It finally came in and I got it today. It cost me $20.06 including tax from my dealer. Because of the community here and the good folks who offer advice and experience, I am offering it new, in the sealed package for $10.00 including shipping. Basically, it will cover the cost of shipping. Anyway, be the first to PM me and it's yours.receipt.jpgthumbnail_IMG_20200701_195426.jpg

Did a little more research on whether the TTPWS should work on a 8.4 system with 3.5" cluster screen. I found a 2020 3500 available optioned with the 8.4 and 3.5 screen so that gives me more confidence it just might work on my 2019.

Sold!

Question: Do these instructions apply to 2019 2500's also? I have the bumper module installed but need the jumper?

Thanks, Morgan
Fantastic, there is hope! Has anyone performed this update to a 2019 3500 with the 12 inch screen? If so what other tips are there to be aware of?

I'm the first. It does work on my 2019 3500 with a 12 inch uconnect.

Thanks Phil!, Any special instructions for the 12inch screen? My service manager has an email that states FCA has no intention of retrofitting the earlier models.

Your service manager is an idiot. No special instructions for the big screen. See my install step by step here on this forum.

Technically, there's nothing his SM said that's incorrect. Just saying.

Look at Post #1 in the thread. I added all the info including links to @Phil T 's excellent instructions.

I had my tire pressure monitors installed in the trailer wheels today at discount tire for $20. I’m still waiting on the gateway module to install the truck side kit.

I would like to thank everyone who contributed to this thread and a thank you very much to Phil T for his excellent installation PDF.
I was able to get this activated this evening on my truck which has an 8.4" display.

I had to fall back to AlfaOBD ver. 2.1.8.0 because the latest windows version would not save the change for some reason.

If you're running multiple trailers, is it as simple as purchasing additional trailer sensors and the truck will pick them up automatically?

Yes, you just have to choose wich trailer your using in your settings and zip zap

Automatically as in programming them to the specific trailer chosen.

It's a shame the system doesn't account for coupled trailers/disconnect mode like every aftermarket setup (at least my Tireminder) does. :-(

I got my TIM last Saturday from a dealer semi local to me. My local dealer checked and there were only 3 available in the US. I in Washington State. I got it. One in New York, and I forgot the other state. Said it was at least a 30 day wait for more stock. Remainder of the parts shipped today so I should have them by Saturday. I cannot wiat to get this done.
