Towing Sway

Gotcha. I’m guessing most of it is due to the added height. Wondering if helper springs or those sumo helpers would help in the 5er

Plenty of 5th wheels are flipped from the factory and don’t have sway issues. You shouldn’t need to do anything, as long as the springs are in good shape and sized accordingly.

Low pin weight could also explain more bow movement. Getting it weighed should be your next move.
 
Wondering if the movement I see now is only due to the freer movement on the AUH vs a traditional 5er hitch plate ?
Just a thought.
This could be what you are experiencing. If your old hitch only pivoted front and back you may notice more road feel with the free movement of the AUH. Add in light pin weight and higher COG and that could be the issue.
