Tow mirror replacement options??

Have a 21 Laramie CCSB that has the split power tow mirrors and I HATE them !! Thought I would get used to them but they are just the worst part of a great truck !! Been backing trucks and trailers up for 40+ years since I was 8 at the farm and these mirrors are the worst in my opinion by far.. Loved the ones on my 01 dually I just sold and even on my old Chevys I ran. But these split mirrors are horrible to see out of when down and backing up, there's blind spots and the split view is really annoying.. Soooooooo Is there any options to switch these things out before I back into something ?? I run my mirrors down and always have even with my dually and 30 ft trailers / campers I don't want to look like I'm pulling a ghost trailer and this isn't a debate about up or down, I am searching out an option to replace these things and retrofit a decent factory looking mirror that has 1 piece glass or just has the small spot mirror in the corner like the 2nd Gens did.. Will 1500 truck mirrors fit our trucks and retain all the features I have now as far as heated, power adjust, puddle lamps, and power fold ?? Truck doesn't have BSM and obviously the power convex adjust would be non existent also .. Someone out there has to have ditched these things as I see a lot of complaints about them on various boards but didn't see any solutions other than GM replacements not really interested in that ...

To each his own I guess. I liked the stacked glass tow mirrors on my last Chevy but got used to the Ram mirrors.

There is a non-tow mirror as an available option on the HDs. I don’t think it has any sort of convex spotter mirror though. Power/heated part numbers: 68386746AB (right) and 68386747AB (left)

Probably wouldn't mind them if they were a stacked design like the Chevys.. Do you know if these would be plug and play as the options would be less not more so the truck would already have the parameters turned on ??

Have you tried flipping the mirrors up so they are stacked? The mirrors should rotate up.

I just wish the large glass on the passenger mirror was convex.

I know they flip up  But no way I am flipping those up, makes the truck look stupid IMO and on top of that we have a ton of very narrow roads around here..

I also would be interested if your mirrors are non chrome. Also would be very interested in seeing the wiring when/if you remove them. I want to see how the power convex mirror is plugged into the wiring.
