Good afternoon,
I am the proud owner of a 2020 Ram 2500 tradesman that unfortunately was built without the tow mirrors.
I am going to have to add them as a travel trailer will be purchased sometime this year.
I have been reading through the posts looking for part numbers and I am needing help.
Can someone lead me in the right direction to where I get the correct ones?

The current setup has power mirrors with defrost.

Thanks,
Kevin

I hate to be the guy that diverts you away from a MOPAR parts house, but infotainment.com will be the easiest purchase, link below. There isn't one part number (more like 10 per side) or one kit available from the MOPAR parts houses,

I was in the same situation, and just installed OEM tow mirrors. The best option is to have your dealer order 2019-up tow mirrors, reinforcement brackets and hardware. These will be plug and play, you just need to have your dealer add the sales codes to enable the lighting and adjustment functions. I did it the hard way, installing kit #82214909AF, which is the 2018-prior mirror. The mirror is identical, but the plugs' pin wiring configuration is different and requires reconfiguring the pin positions in the plugs. Members on this forum will help you if you go this route, and again you will need to enable the functions either at your dealer or using Alpha OBD.

How is the prices compared to if I bought them individually from the dealer?
Any idea?

The part numbers for factory option black 2019-2021 manual fold, power adjust, and heat Mopar tow mirrors are: 68381772AD and 68381773AD . There are brackets you can add (and I did), but I've read that they're not necessary if you're willing to chance it. Those part numbers are; 68078242AA, 68078243AA. and the rivnuts (use 2 per side minimum, or 3 to fill all holes) are 06507161AA. You can get all this for about $460 if you shop around.

As Yarnellm said, you'll need to add the sales codes to activate the turn signals, puddle lights, and correct the adjuster for the change when you flip them up. I used AlfaOBD to do all that myself (instead of a dealer trip) since I plan to activate some other items later.

To get Power fold or chrome, find a truck for sale with them and use the VIN to identify the parts. That's how I did it.

Do you know which tow mirrors you want to buy?
Power with manual fold or power with power fold.

Power fold would be nice, but am leaning towards manual.
If you are interested, I am going to replace my manual fold tow mirrors with the power folds. You can have mine for $200.00 plus shipping. My 2500 has 6000 miles on it.
you are just gonna have to wait because I am waiting for the power folds to arrive.

SLR, after adding the sales codes for heat, turn and puddle lights, do your mirror running lights work? Or is that a separate sales code?

Yarnellm, my upper / outer mirror lamps only light amber with a turn signal. Are they supposed to have a running light function as well? I didn't look at other trucks before buying the 2020 Tradesman.

My 19 has both running and signal

I just looked at AlfaOBD on my phone, went into the 2020 BodyControl Module menu, and see it there. However, when I connect to my truck, it's telling me I'm connected to a 16-17 and that option isn't there. Weird. I'm going to check into why it's doing this.

SLR, yes the 2019 and newer HD trucks' mirrors light up amber when the headlights are on as well as blink with the turn signals. If you installed OEM 2020 mirrors they should light with the headlights. I am trying to determine if I need another sales code added to make this functional.
thanks!

Yarnellm, are you using AlfaOBD?
No I am not at this point. I had my dealer add sales codes. I would be willing to purchase and use AlfaOBD going forward but is it necessary to get the mirror running lights operating?

I can't say about the dealer, but I just updated my AlfaOBD phone app and was able to add the feature. The mirror running lights now work.
Good to hear, SLR! Thanks for the update! I may go ahead and invest in AlphaOBD. Enjoy your truck.
