Toolbox with CHMSL w/camera

Anyone have any issues seeing the gooseneck ball in an 8' bed with a standard size crossover toolbox added?

Shortbed, but I can't see any of the bed floor with the camera and a standard Weatherguard 20" box. First thing I can see is right at the bottom of the tailgate 6'4" away.

If you want to test it take a board and place it across the box 20” from the back off the box to simulate a tool box and see if you can see the ball....

I'm researching the same issue. I've narrowed the choices down to a low profile crossover box or an in-bed box. Standard height crossover box will definitely block the view.

I have a low profile toolbox, that’s approximately 20” wide and as long as the gooseneck ball is over 3.5“ tall you will be able to see it, but anything shorter and the toolbox hides it.

So I went with a slim crossover toolbox. It's 12 inches wide. Should hold all I need without any issues. No problem seeing the GN hitch.
