Yes, no mast just like the 1500... not sure where it was integrated.

Yea, I love this BulletProofHitch.... I’m going to use the B&W on my 06. That hitch is rated up to 22,000 lbs... which is more than the B&W.

I purchased a 2019 RAM 2500 Tradesman about a month ago off the dealer lot. It's equipped with the 6.4L V8, 8 Speed Tranny, 3.73 Rear axle, single rear wheel, crew cab, 6'4" bed and 4X4. It has some options, such as the chrome option, and clearance lights, etc. But the interior is pretty basic, with the smaller uconnect screen. I've already done some work on it at this point. MSRP was $45K, and I got it Tax, title and tag OTD at $35K because I had some money in my old truck.

What is it that you two love about that hitch? And, would it recommend it to someone that would never pull more than 12,000 lbs., or would it be overkill?

The 2.5 inch B&W hitch (7.5 in drop) is rated for 7,500 lbs for 2 in ball, and 14,500 lbs for 2-5/16 ball. The 2.5 inch heavy duty
BulletProofHitch (8 in drop) is rated for 12,000 lbs for 2 in ball, and 22,000 lbs for 2-5/16 ball. They are both made in USA and similarly priced. The BulletProofHitch is very well made and heavy duty. I have both and like the BulletProofHitch better. B&W might make a heavier duty version of the 7.5 drop but I can’t find it. I have no affiliation with BulletProofHitch, but I highly recommend them.
