Too much oil and poor dealer help

if anything, take credit where credit is due. you have proved that the exhaust will handle 1000's of regens and not burn a hole through it :D

i had my first regen yesterday outside of the 24 hr window and that triggered me. cant imagine having it every 15 miles

Wow, pathetic. They could have driven it 5 miles and noticed it’s still screwed. Did ram care escalate the buyback case again?

Don't know yet waiting on them to respond. It will be interesting I'll be towing tomorrow and Friday over a mountain pass it will be interesting. I'll keep driving till she blow at this point, the more times back to the shop the more RAM spends money on it.

I may have missed it, but what was their supposed fix?

Every bearing in that thing is not going to be happy when you start towing. Wonder which one will let go first.

I would be interested to know if you can stay out of active regen even when towing with what you are seeing....

Seems kind of unnerving that Ram brought in their expert to fix it and that what you got back.

Someone should be fired in my opinion, Ram should be very embarrassed about this. I triggered the 3rd active regen and 30miles ish after that it did a passive regen as the soot level was already up to 1/4 and dropped to 1/8 and def fluid Guage dropped as well. It held it off a little but went back up again lol.

Ram care gave me another dealer to get a second opinion on the vibration. Then after I sent an email today of regens I have had today, they said just book another appointment and get a rental set up.

I stopped by the new dealership. Service manager is my age and looks like he climbed ranks from turning wrench. He seemed very knowledgeable of what is going on with the trucks. I explained the whole back ground and everything that had been performed. He confirmed the vibration and motor sounds are not normal, he did do a injector kill test on all of them to see if it went away. The test did nothing and vibration still there, I ask to make an appointment for regens and he simply said to have Ram care reach out to him and he will share his thoughts.

That’s all the explanation you received? Hopefully you got someone who will actually help you and not just brush you off. Good luck, again…….

This appointment was just to confirm vibration and motor noise 45min stop. I hope it's a good end result as well. he would not say too much, you could tell he did not really want to deal with this nightmare lol. He did tell me this needs to be bought back for how much time and money has been spent. He was very concerned with the fuel dilution and how long they made me drive that way before they did anything.
