Yesterday I replaced my 2021 RAM 1500 Limited Crew Cab 4X4 EcoDiesel with a 2024 RAM 2500 Limited Night Crew Cab 4X4 Diesel. My RAM 1500 struggled towing my 8,000 lbs. travel trailer (TT) on long steep grades. I opted for the rear air-suspension on the 2500 to prevent the rear from sagging when towing my TT. The kind folks at Thuren Fabrication told me rear air-suspension RAM 2500s are closer to level from the factory than 2500s without the rear air-suspension and recommended their 1" leveling kit. This is true as the front and rear wheel openings from the ground are 40.5" and 42", respectively. That said, should I go with Thuren's 1" or 2" leveling kit to accommodate 35X12.50R20 without modification and rubbing? As for wheels, should I go with 20X10 or 20X9 wheels? And what should the offset be for 20X9 and 20X10 wheels? My preference is the tires be flush with the wheel fender lips. The rear fender lips extend 1.5" in the rear and 1" in the front beyond the stock 285/60R20 tires. Lastly, will a 35X12.50R20 fit in the spare tire area? Your insight is appreciated.

35's will fit your truck without modification and without rubbing.
"Some" 35's (those on the small side) will fit under the truck with some effort and likely aired down. The receiver hitch protrudes into the space otherwise intended for tire, and there is a heat shield that further restricts the area.

If you are thinking about a 5th alloy wheel in the spare rack, they may or may not be compatible with the spare winch, which may require that the wheel go in "face up" which is going to mar the outward facing side of the wheel badly.

There is a wheel/tire subforum and these topics are covered every week or so.

Over there you can learn about wheel size and offset as well as what tire size fits with what size lift.

I ended up purchasing five wheels & tires from Costco. I went with Velox's spiral-forged 20X9R20 +10mm offset Grenade wheels and 35X12.5R20 BFGoodrich All-Terrain T/A KO2 tires. I started with four tires and five wheels. Once I discovered the 35X12.5R tire fit (barely) in the spare tire space, I purchased a fifth tire. The only rubbing (minor) that occurs is when I turn the wheel to left all the way and hit a bump. Other than that, all good. FTR, my truck is a 2024 RAM 2500 Limited with the optional Automatic-Leveling Rear Air-Suspension. If over time I notice more rubbing, I will add a leveling kit.
