Tire Upgrade for ‘21 2500 (Pics Please)

Somehow Discount Tire got the tires I ordered on Friday morning from Connecticut all the way to Idaho by Wednesday (with a holiday weekend in between)… I was impressed! Anyway, these are the Toyo AT3’s, 35x11.50r20. I think they fill the wheel wells just right for my taste. Also, the black lug nuts were a nice touch!

Looks great!! And strangely familiar at the same time... ;-)

Where in Idaho are you? I’m in Meridian. We got the same truck, I’m just white bright.

35x12.5 Cooper rugged trek’s. They may be the best on road hybrid tire I’ve ever had, so far. I’ve run Ridge Grapplers, Duratracs, ko2 and these are much quieter.

I had to go look these up, they look promising. I had Cooper AT3 XLTs on my 2018 in the stock size, and I liked them for every day driving- and I do get in the dirt some times. is your truck leveled or does that size fit? I have the exact same truck.

Mine is leveled with the ReadyLift spacer.
No rubbing but full lock’s very close.
Either way fits great. The Rugged Trek’s are a brand new rollout so they are very competitive cost wise right now.

they also have two outer treads on different sides - one is more normal and the other is what I have on the outer side

Thanks, I want to avoid a level kit if I can, I tow a gooseneck livestock trailer and sometimes a flat bed bumper trailer. I see guys with leveled trucks towing light weight boats all the time since I live near a lake and their headlights always seem to be pointing to the sky. The Cooper AT3 did ok in the mud and such, put seem to want to hold gravel in them to toss out later. I try to use the older truck I have in the pastures, but you never know sometimes where you end up, or the weather. so these "hybrid" tires seem just the ticket, and a touch larger looks perfect on that truck. I drive a lot of street miles, but live on a Ranch in Georgia so I need a all around tire, that still can haul a trailer out of a muddy field. snows not an issue.

So after seeing this, I did some homework and I was pretty impressed with the Coopers. So boom, here they are.
It’s only been a week but it poured buckets the first day and the wet traction was fantastic.

Man I love to hear it. 2k miles on and they’re still extremely quiet. I second the rain grip. My ridge grapplers would break loose all the time. I can barely get these to spin.

Real shame they dont come in real sizes.
Give it a little time, they appear to be brand spanking new. They also seem to be in direct competition with MT Baja Boss based on all the extremely biased YouTube reviews I watched.

I am going with the Continental AT tires, good reviews and good enough for the off roading I do.

Did you have any rubbing with the 35x11.5’s?

I have had good luck with Toyos and Coopers, but don't get all the hate about the Transforce tires. I live in Nevada and they have been fine on rough roads and in snow.

What size are these and do they rub at all even on full lock?

How have the Rugged Treks held up? What are your thoughts as you put more miles them?

I went with Continental Contitrac because of the wet traction reviews, I have Nokian snow tires for winter
