Good morning to all.....I have a 2020 2500 4x4 Laramie.....all stock, no intentions of making changes other than cosmetic and tires. I will be pulling a 5th with it. I am in the process of research on tire change from the Firestones to (narrowed down to) Cooper AT3's.
All that said......stock size is 275/70R18, considering a 285/75R18, little over an inch taller and nominal on width change.....will slow rpm's down a skosh also.....my question is.....has anyone else gone to this size and if so, was there a fitment issue at all?

Whew.....tired now.
Thanks all

You should not. A lot of owners just up to the 295s on stock wheels and setup. They seem to have no issues. If I decide to go up in size when I need new tires, I will go to the 285. 295 or 305 is just wider than I prefer.

I wish they would make a post it on the front page, you can fit up to a 35/12.5r20 tire stock with no rubbing or fitment issue.

The site could be renamed any number of almost daily questions and people would still overlook it and ask before searching.

I agree as a member who has been around for some time or been on multiple different forums over the years it gets old seeing the same question.
The way I look at it some people are brand new to forums and do not think to do a search. They have a question so they ask. A friend at work just bought a new Ram. He said he has never looked at a forum and was shocked as to what all was on them about his new truck. Also I have done searches on here for something I know is there because I already read about it. If I didn’t word it right I don’t get a return of anything. ( I try again because I know it’s there).

Anyway if I have a little knowledge I’ll give it to the OP to try to help them out. I also may add at times to try a search for additional info if I know it’s already been asked.

Its as clear as it can possibly be, Wheels/Tires discussion form.

I did help and have multiple times, I'm not here to argue ill bow out we all have personal experiences in other forums ill keep comments to myself
