Hello All,
I have a 2024 3500. The truck came new with the Firestone Transforce. They weren't too bad I got 33,000 and they need replacing. I don't go off road or drive in the snow. Any recommendations for different all seasons? Looking for a good priced tire with quite ride and good wet & dry traction. Any input will be appreciated.

I just went with Toyo Open Country AT3's in 295/70/r18's on my Ram and they are performing very nicely.

When I bought my truck the dealer had to replace the tires and the my put General HD Grabbers on it.

They are quiet and handle road conditions great wet or dry. I have had them in snow and didn’t need 4wd. They are wearing good too as I have 28,300 miles on them.

Going up hill on our place they don’t grip grass real good and I need 4wd then.

That said if I was going to be doing mostly paved roads I would consider them.

Personally though I am going to try a more AT focused tire next time, but I have a fair amount of wear to go before replacing them.

Edited to put actual mileage and add picture.

Our three Ram HD trucks this morning in Wyoming nearest to Baggs (over 30 miles). All with Toyo tires. 285 75R18 AT3's, 275 70R18 and 35 12.50R17 C/T's. The Toyo tires have never been punctured out in the boonies.20250822_061256.jpg

Thank you that is all good information.

Doesn't off road, doesn't snow, want's quiet highway ride. Truck that's new enough to be nice.

Perfect candidate for Michelin: Defender LTX, AT2, or Agilis
Always ran Michelin, even on my trailers. For some reason the sidewalls started rotting out on them. The past few years I have been running Bridgestone and Toyo.

Michelins given your criteria, If you have a Costco, get them there. Easy regular tire rotates while you stock up. Im running the Cooper Discover XLTs. Zero complaints with either tire.

@Big Red 3500 Another recommendation for Michelin. Our Sprinter has the agilis on it and it’s a great tire for what you’ve described. Quiet, smooth, and should be long lasting.

I’m ran Toyo, BFG, Falken, Coopers, Michelin, and Goodyears over the years. Toyos were the worst, hands down (only brand I’ll never ever run again). BFG were ok. Falken and Cooper have been great, and Goodyears the best. Michelins were great as an on-road tire for many years on the 4Runner, but how we use the pickup and probably the van starting next year they aren’t the brand for that use.

Thanks for the info. No Costco in my area. I have had good luck with discount tire for my cars in the past.

I had Goodyears on my Corvette in the past. They only lasted 12,000 miles. I imagine truck tires are different. I will look at the agilis.

3 years now on my Toyo AT3's, great for me, towing, rain, snow, wear, noise, ride, looks. No complaints at all. I was going to try the Falken WildPeak next but I just might go with the Toyo again.

My opinion is stay with the Toyo. Have had Falken on a 2500 gasser and never again. Too much road noise for me and I rotated regularly too. Only reason for the Falken at that time was unable to get the Toyo and during the Covid era. The area I drive in is Wisconsin southern to Northern, so you know what the weather is then.
