Im looking into getting new shoes for our 3500. We tow a 17k 5th wheel. We are going to be going with 285/75 on stock wheels. I think iv narrowed it down to the ridge grappler, cooper discover at3, or wildpeak at3... any recommendations? Thanks.

Not the nittos....I have no experience with those coopers but I did just put the falken wildpeak at3 on my truck...they feel very good compared to the stock tires....

Why not the nittos? I had them on my 2500 amd loved them. Also got 50k out of them.

look at Toyo RT's. I have used the Cooer at3, Falken at3w and like the RT's better. all were great tires tho. Toyo RT's and the ridge grapplers are very similar

I have the Nitto’s in load range F on my 2500 and would highly recommend them. For as aggressive as they look they have great road manners. Id say no louder than my stock tires at 13k miles and they are significantly better in the rain.

It really depends on your needs. If your 90% on the road, your gonna hate an aggressive AT tire. Do you need large side lugs to get thru mud and sand?

I've had both Cooper Discovery and Wildpeak AT3. Only complaint was the Cooper Discovery's eventually started cupping to much which lead to noisy ride. I've settled on the Wildpeaks have had numerous sets of them on different trucks over the years.
