Tilting mirrors in reverse

Question. If you have programmable driver settings and don’t need them for extra drivers couldn’t you set one for reverse and program it. Then when needed just select that program. Button 1 normal. Button 2 reverse. As a work around.

My Tradesman has power adjustable mirrors but they do not tilt when placed into reverse. Does anyone know if this feature can be enabled using AlfaOBD?

It is enabled in the radio. I tried it and found it tilted down too much so disabled it again.

You need memory capable mirrors.

I agree. Tilts too far and too hard to switch between tilt mode and regular mode in the menus. They need a switch on the mirrors controls to toggle mode easily.

Is the amount of angle fixed or has anyone found the setting in AlfaOBD?

How to adjust how far down the mirrors tilt in reverse:
- For “function”, select driver door (instead of body computer). Select control unit MY2019+, and connect (click continue when the box pops up talking about blue adapters).
- Select car with open hood icon in lower right (active diagnostic for windows version)
- Scroll down to Mirror Tilt Distance and select
- 40 is the default, so enter values lower than 40 to lessen the distance that the mirrors tilt down (I chose 20).
- Once procedure is complete, repeat the process for passenger door.

Gonna check this out in JScan. I always found it tilted too far to the ground. EDIT: I found it under "Modules", "Drivers Door/Passenger Door", "Mirror Tilt Distance". Set to 30 seems to be just right. Driving this thing for almost four years and finally will use this function. Thanks @Jimmy07
