Thuren suspension

I am about ready to pull the trigger for a Thuren setup on the new 3500.

Previously I went with the fox 2.0s with reservoir front and rear. I am wondering if it's worth the extra coin to go for the adjustable fox 2.5s. Truck is used 90% on highway towing or empty.

Either shock setup will be paired with the .50 springs in the front with the track and sway bar.

Anyone gone from 2.0s to the 2.5 fox?

I went from Fox 2.0 to Thuren tuned king 2.5s and there was noticeable difference. the truck seems to be planted more and not a swaying boat going down the road. The fox 2.5s are fully adjustable for slow and fast compression, I have them on my jeep gladiator. If your the kind of person that will just set it and forget it and never change the tuning on the shock per environment i wouldn't bother. If you want a better performing shock i would say the 2.5s fit the HD truck performance a lot better and there are other options to reach that goal vs Fox 2.5s. If you want it to look cool and spend the money more power to you its your money.

I’ll just throw in an update about my ‘22 3500… When I received the Fox shocks and installed them I noticed ZERO difference versus the OE shocks with the extenders I put on. In fact, just last year, one of the Fox shocks started leaking and I had to buy a new one for the right front. Of course, I assume my OE ones would have been fine. Next time, I’ll just run the OE shocks with extenders. Works perfectly fine for my pavement driving and trailer pulling.

Thanks for the response.

Money is a factor and I'd prefer function over looks all day. I'll keep looking but I prefer Thuren stuff.

If you go to Thurens website you can buy Thuren tuned bilstein. I would go that route over fox 2.0s

I have the Ram Air Suspension from factory. I installed the .5" Thuren Springs, Thuren Front Shocks and Thuren Rear Shocks and Thuren Track Bar. Now, dont expect to be riding on a 1/2 ton truck where its perfectly smooth, however, the bumps you do feel are A LOT less noticeable. I enjoy the ride a lot more and defenitely recommend Thuren! Any other questions let me know
I am looking at doing the same on my 2025 3500 Limited w/ factory air suspension. Thuren 0.5" Coil, Fox 2.0 Front and Rear w/ Res, Track Bar, Sway Bar, and Fox Steering Damper. I plan to go to Toyo RT Trails (35x11.50xR20). All of this will get installed on Monday, so I don't have solid numbers yet. Here is a breakdown of my calculations, please correct me if I am wrong. I would like to know if you have any rake in the normal drive mode and if you are close to level in your alt trailer height mode on the air suspension.

Stock Configuration (Normal Ride Height - Suspension):
0.75" (Rake)

After 0.5" Front Coil Installation (Normal Ride Height - Hypothetical):
0.75" - 0.50" = 0.25" (Rake)

Stock Configuration (ALT Trailer Height - Suspension):
From what I read it seems like this will drop the rear by 1" to rest on the overload springs
0.75" - 1.0" = -0.25" (Nose High)

After 0.5" Front Coil Installation (ALT Trailer Height - Hypothetical):
0.25" - 1.0" = -0.75" (Nose High)

This is all assumption, and I have no idea if I am thinking about this correctly. Can you please help confirm if a 1" rear lift with the following is necessary? CJC Offroad recommened these to me, but only with the Carli 2.5" coils.

Not very technical so just tell me what to measure and from where and I can get that going for you today or tomorrow. To answer your question in general, it does not look rakes at all. Looks level and to be honest not much change from stock other than tires.

Thanks for getting back to me. Basically if you can do the following measurements from center of wheel hub up to the fender opening above the tire in front and rear while in normal ride height and then for alt ride height. However, if you have a 3500 I am not sure if it will drop without a load on the rear.

My 2014 megacab 3500 cummins picked up 3/4-7/8" of front height over stock with the "short" Thuren TF-351 springs. I know they say they're 1" on a 2500, 0.5" on a 3500, but I picked up a little extra despite the extra weight of the megacab. Perhaps my factory springs had settled a little. I did not replace isolators.

I am using the Thuren reccommended Bilstein 24-185776 on the front to accommodate the additional travel in both directions. I think that's typically a third gen ram front shock.
