I've read where this was talked about before and I have a Bank Pedal Monster

Im not sure its completely related to the throttle,

My problem is this, say Im at a red light and I give some throttle to move up a bit, just then the light turns green. I give it throttle again and it goes just goes dead for a second. Several times trying to cross highways its scary AF if your trying to squeeze between people. Its done this since day one, dealer says its how the computer learned my driving? Its quite honestly the only thing that would get me to swtich to a different brand.

p.s. the banks pm didnt help it.

This on a 2020 3500 6.7HO - Aisin

I have a 2022 HO with Pedal Monster set to City 4 or 5. Doesn’t do that.

Are you 2 footing it?

DBW Throttle lag is an issue on these trucks. Something you just kind of get used to driving around.

My 03 Audi A6 is way worse with the DTBL (Death Throttle-Brake Lag). Jumping into the median on a 4+ lane divide boulevard and then trying to quickly hop out after that brake application can be like playing frogger.

Mine did that a few times and then I had a code for turbo underboost. It's at the dealer now waiting for a new turbo actuator. Approx. 32,000 miles on the truck.

I've never thrown a code but for the def sensor, and yeah Im at 39k

I drove a new 2025 Cummins over the weekend, and it had this same issue. Just about a 1" dead zone on the pedal before the throttle kicked in, and then turbo lag after that!
