This is why the manual is 470 pages long.

Never bothered us that we would stick a 9 volt battery on our tounge and shock ourselves.
And we rode our bycicles in shorts, t shirts and sometimes shoes.

When I was a kid I had this cool tank looking thing called a Big-Trax or something, my older sister got mad at me and tossed it down the steps and broke it. I got mad and held her down and shoved a 9V in her mouth and held it there for a few seconds as a punishment. She learned her lesson, she never broke my toys again. 9V batteries are useful for sibling warfare.

You didn't even know it, but you invented the first Taser. :p

It came out in 1979 and was one of the coveted Christmas gifts, and to the 8 year old me... it was the most awesome thing ever seen. Fully programmable, sounds, flashing lights (represented gun fire) and more! It was sized huge like a Tonka truck and ran on I believe 8 D-cell batteries.

Trust me buddy.... she deserved what she got. I kind of think I let her off easy! I should have beheaded her stupid cabbage patch dolls and taken a dump in her mega sized doll house. She was a mean big sister. Blamed me for anything that she did and my father would beat the hell out of me for it.

I still have some Stomper 4x4 trucks, the white semi truck and trailer and few of the rival companies Rough Rider 4x4 trucks that had the sort of cone shaped wheel that allowed you tilt it on the side and run on 2 wheels. I wouldn't even allow my boys to play with them.

I can't understand why Stompers aren't still made. They were powerful and durable and ran a long time on a AA battery. They ran even better with a 9 volt... but didn't last long.
