Loved that bike, was very hard to start as it was carbed 2006 model year but oh, boy, it was wild power wise, unfortunately didn't use if often enough.Hell of a collection. Ive always wanted a plated wr450 of that generation.
I don't drive to work, I work overseas so RAM is our daily / travel vehicle, no need to expose it to road salt they spray around here in Winter months, have a winter beater Infiniti ex35 for that with studded winter and a summer rubber sets. It's AWD so don't need to teach wife all the nuances of when and when not using 4X4, I wouldn't feel comfortable letting her drive it in a winter time. That is quite a vehicle lineup! I think you're the only one I know of that puts the Ram 2500 into hibernation in the winter.![]()
Awesome! I love these old Camaros and Firebirds! Used to have a 1986 Camaro when I was in my early 20s, wish I still had it.
Hah, just got a new pair myself
Yeah.. they had a routine to get them to start. If you learned it, it was not too bad -- but still not great haha.Loved that bike, was very hard to start as it was carbed 2006 model year but oh, boy, it was wild power wise, unfortunately didn't use if often enough.
Mine wasn't road legal but in Alberta there is a way to do it. It already got head and break lights, if you add turn signals, horn and an ignition lock then it could be registered as a road bike if it's brand new. If it was previously registered as off-road bike it's much harder to make it street legal.

Electric cars make great second cars that are used for daily driving. We have a Chevy Bolt EUV just because it was a super cheap daily for my wife. New it cost less than most used cars after the rebates. My wife loves never having to stop at the gas station and it keeps miles off her Jeep. It would be terrible if it was our only car because long distance trips would suck, but for a daily it is great. We never charge anywhere other than home. I'm sure that Tesla is way more fun to drive than the Chevy though!I almost hesitate to post this here ... but I like tech, all kinds of tech, all kinds of vehicles, so here goes.
2016 Tesla P90DL. Incredibly fun to drive. I wouldn't have it if I had only 1 vehicle, but for a 2nd it's great. Only have had it for about 2 months.

A close friend of mine has a Bolt, absolutely loves it. Incredibly inexpensive to operate, no routine maintenance. Same with my Tesla, I charge at home 90% of the time, no routine maintenance, brakes are pretty much lifetime of the vehicle.Electric cars make great second cars that are used for daily driving. I had a driver I was dealing with at work see my car and say the same thing. He was kind of extreme, like 1 out of 10 catch on fire sort of stuff. Hey, he didn't like EV's, I get it, but I asked him to not spread mis-information (he had a lot more to say than just the fire thing).I know it doesn't happen often but I'd never plug in an EV parked in my garage, outside and away from my house - yes, but not inside.
pulled the car out to give it its first wash in 20 years. this weekend will be putting the fuel system back together
