It’s your threads fault….Here? No.
I don’t know if this is what happened to you butWell I dont have a CCW.
Bought a Glock 17 here in Calif. Years later, sold it to my buddy with a FFL. Went to the gun store and paid the money and filled out the paperwork to transfer to him.
Several years later, I get stopped on the college campus by the campus popo. He starts asking me where my Glock is. What? I dont own a glock. Goes on for a bit till I realise what hes talking about. Told him I sold it years ago and he doesent believe me. Tell him I went to the gun store and did the paperwork and hes still questioning it.
All because i was filling up a 250 gallon container with free filtered ocean water the college provides for us aquarium hobbies.![]()
I'm only repeating with 2 policemen, 3 CCW trainers and their attorneys said in Idaho during the Idaho Enhanced CCW class. Paraphrasing here, "Every law enforcement officer who pulls you over will have on his screen info that you have conceal carry permits." Whether that's only Idaho law enforcement or not is irrelevant to me as I cynically assume that all states have by now tied their systems together. I don't volunteer any information to anyone, law enforcement or not.....and just because something is against a state's constitution doesn't mean there aren't other nefarious forces at work that ignore constitutional constraints. One more time.
In COLORADO, only the issuing County Sherriff would have any knowledge of the CCW and show in the system patrol officers have access to.
There is no statewide database. There is no list. It's against the State Constitution. If you have contact and volunteer that information, it may then forever be in an Officer's, Deputy's, or Trooper's report but it's not going into a list per se..
In addition to Colorado, I have a Utah non-resident permit (covers +13 more states for me). The state of Utah issues the permit and does maintain a database. They also regularly check that against NCIS records and will pull the permit if something pops.
Every state is different. In COLORADO, there is no duty to inform. Not so in many other states so it's best to know the regs in any states you travel through.
Power wagons have helical style the rest are clutches that is well known here on this forumI dont think we have solved whether the HD have clutch packs or helical style "LSD". I have seen on different forums, people state both. I cannot seem to find a straight answer, on forums nor actual documentation.

Is this aimed at me.Yes, but the most important thing that you left out is....What is your CCW of choice when stealing water?? LOL

Yea I know.Hahaha...Yep, just joking though!
we got constitutional carry now I think we’re the 25th state to get it. I’ll probably still keep my license renewed so I get my reciprocity in states that recognize our states license
Man, I couldn't live like that. Ever consider moving south? I live a few miles out of town and around here if you're not hearing banging from my place, it's coming from my neighbor to the south. If not from there, then it might be coming from my neighbor to the east..... You get the picture.
I know my neighbors love me when I'm developing new loads![]()
