Tazer Ram?

I've always pulled it before dealer visits, but I did use a splitter for my bypass so I just have a 2nd port behind the dash. I installed a high quality splitter on the stock OBD2 plug with one end going to the stock location and one end going into this guy.
https://www.kaodtech.com/product-page/security-module-bypass. My truck only sees the dealer for recall work as I do my own service for everything else. Isn't really an issue out here with rural dealers and warranty, even having all sorts of aftermarket parts like the banks intake elbow/grid heater delete. 9 time out of 10 they ask me if I'm tuned to avoid to re-flashing the truck so one of those situations where I don't worry about the dealer.

Also Alfa really isn't too hard if you're familiar with professional grade scan tools or WiTech. There are plenty of threads such as :

and the bulk thread :

So long as you take a backup of the truck really the worst case is that you restore it.
Were you able to turn on auto fold mirrors via the dash of your 22 or was that setting leftover from when you had it on the challenger? If I can go ahead have that feature while waiting on the others I might go ahead and purchase the Tazer. Also, have a link for your high quality OBD2 splitter?

Power Fold was enabled by default, iirc

You can still configure the Tazer with UC5 systems, but it's very painful. You have to disconnect the fuse from under the hood from the Radio, And then you have about 80% success rate of flipping through the Tazer menus in the EVIC before the EVIC decides to update the menu with the non-existent radio updates. It was enough were I could try to tunes, and turn off spoof 4-lo. I didn't notice much of anything with the tunes and it was too much of a PITA to do a lot of testing with them, so I left them all at default.

There are several things in the Tazer that don't work, in my '22 at least, including the Using Nav while driving, auto up/down windows with key fob, and maybe one or to others ... but the light show works, lol.

The Tazer Ram firmware has autofold enabled by default. Mine was unmarried from my 4th gen and I re-flashed it back to "out of the box" before plugging into my '22. Navigating the interface is impossible so I just leave it as is for now.

Here are the splitters I like to use in the Rams since the tabs hold onto the stock location very well. I usually wrap them in tessa tape during install with the bypass hanging off the 2nd OBD2 output and the one that's part of the T back into the stock location.

Tazer sells a bypass and splitter. Don't know the technical reason behind the pigtails , but they plug into a few pins that are tucked up under the dash. https://www.zautomotive.com/product/z_obd_t_long/

And the clarify on point, to override the input lockout while driving, it requires wiring the taser into cables behind the head unit - which is a beast to get to.

They're basically building the splitter and bypass into one unit, however, their bypass doesn't clip firmly into the factory location. We have one on the other 2500 and plugging OBD2 things into it you've got to hold it in place or it'll pop through the dash opening.

The reason it cannot communicate with the radio is the SGW module. The SGW module protects the OBD2 port and isolates the radio from the canbus. You can do a full SGW bypass, however, it would leave your truck open to attack via connected services (unless connected services deleted) and it will cause issues for the dealer.

To those with the tazer using it on a 2022+ truck… is there an option to have exhaust brake automatically turn on when turning on vehicle? Or should I say “remember last setting”

No that cant be done without a ECM tune or a C&C
