Anyone else have an issue with alignment? Mine has been like this since day one but hasn't really bothered me until everyone else has noticed it and said something. I tried adjusting the striker but doesn't seem to make a difference. It is only on the left side and it seems to lock fine and auto open with the fob ok. I will make an appointment with the dealer, just wondering if anyone else has had this issue? Left side with issue

Yep! have the same issue on mine.
The LH side is not aligned, don't think it is as bad as yours, but it's off. RH side looks good. I've not messed with it yet. As you said, it opens and closes fine.

Same issue on mine, left is off, right is good, everything functions normally. Haven't played with it yet, will probably have the dealer look at it shortly.

Same problem here as well. Left side is not as bad as yours but, it is noticeable. If I Slam it shut, it fits almost as good as the Right side which is almost perfect.

I noticed this before I took delivery and put it on the list for the Sales Person to get it fixed before I signed papers. When I came back to sign, I was told they spent 2 hours on it and couldn't get it to close any better.. I then walked around the sales lot and noticed All the HD's were the same way so, I stopped worrying about it.

To me it looks like All the tailgates are warped, or All the Beds are out of square. Poor Quality Control !

I don't doubt my bed is unsquare, but my tailgates is aligned perfectly and opens/close with ease.

If I close the tailgate from the drivers side it closes flush. Center or passenger and it looks like yours.

Wow, I'm far from the only one then. Thanks for all the responses. I'm hoping something can be done about this issue but after reading this thread I'm not real confident.

Mine is the same on my 2020 3500 Limited. Like others, if I slam it harder or close from driver side, it is closer to flush like the passenger side.

Same issue here, 2020 regular cab long bed Tradesman. Tailgate requires a hard slam to close all the way. A moderate slam will latch it, but the left side won't be flush. Haven't had the dealer look at it yet.

Does anyone have any updates on this issue? 2020 Longhorn 2500 with the same issue, left side is not flush.

I noticed this on about half of the trucks on the lot. I wonder if the bolts attaching the bed to the frame could be loosened to allow the bed to square up and then retightened.

Mine was off just a tad I loosened up the stud and moved it just enough to make it perfect. no issue now what so ever.

No updates from me, I havent had it in to the dealer yet. I did try adjusting the striker to no avail. It made no difference.

Has anyone checked the alignment of the hinge? Maybe moving that outward would bring the top inward and make it line up better. Just a thought.

Took mine to the dealer. Looks like they sprayed some lube all over but it doesn't shut any better. I might try to move the LH hinge aft if I can. Hate to have to slam it.
