Tail gate Led strip

I have a 2025 Ram 2500. I put an LED tail gate light strip on. The truck thinks there is a trailer behind the truck and disables the rear parking sensors. Is there any work around for this??

Sounds like it plugs into the trailer plug

Used the 4 pin trailer plug.

Does it operate like tail lights, blinkers, brake lights, or some combination?

I would just wire it into the tail lights if you really want it. If you have non LED tails, the new pinouts are in my build thread.
