I was looking at installing a RealTruck UnderCover Swing Case tool case on the passenger side but the website says it's not compatible with the tow package. This confused me so I called and talked to a couple people at RealTruck. Ultimately I was informed that the tie downs were the issue (still find that kind of hard to believe, but...).
So now I'm asking if anybody here has installed a wheel well type swing out tool box on their passenger side and what brand/model did you use?

I had this one for 3 years and keep my extra fuel filters, rags and fuel additive in the box.
The only draw back for me is the latch for my Bi-folding bed cover is blocked by the box, and so if I have firewood in the bed I can't swing the box out far enough to unlatch the cover, its no big deal for me as I'm used to it.
Do not rely on the lock for the lid, it can be easily forced open.
This is the one I have..... https://www.carid.com/id-select/wheel-well-lock-box.html

I just installed a couple last week! I think they are "knock-offs", but I got them new on Marketplace for a good deal. These were considered "universal fit". The tie downs were in the way a little and the instructions say to remove the tie downs, but I just mounted them slightly higher than it suggested, and they fit fine! I can grab you a picture, if you'd like.

I have them, no issues here, other than when I have my canvas cover on, I need to swing them out to get to the latch, but I have a topper on most of the time so its no big thing

I have one from the Zon. It works. I’ve had to do some “reinforcement” to the latch area but likely because I had too much heavy stuff in it. After lightening the load it works fine and has functioned for 3+ years.

Not too thrilled about blocking the bed lights that I worked so hard to install, especially since the only thing I was wanting to do was move the potentially leaking bottle of Archoil out of the truck cab to the bed. Came across
a holder designed for the Archoil bottle though it appears to be a larger bottle than the ones I have. It mounts via four magnets and is plastic. Seems like a good solution so far.

That's pretty cool. Was that an Amazon find?

I think they are on Amazon, though I ultimately ordered it from WalMart. Pretty expensive for what it is, I'll admit, but ain't nothin' cheap these days.

If a person was a 3D printer kind of person, I can see that it would be very easy to produce something like this. Only the magnets would present a challenge I suspect.
