Swing Case Tool Box

We have always had a toolbox in the bed of our truck but with our new truck, we are considering going a different route and have seen the UnderCover Swing Case toolbox. We like the fact these are over the wheel well and don't compromise full use of the bed for hauling camping equipment. Our 5th wheel hitch already limits the space available. We like to haul some tools and didn't know if the swing case toolboxes had enough room to store what we need. Any pro's or con's? Also if you like yours, which brand did you go with? And just one box or one on each side? Thanks!!

I don't have these type storage boxes but I was considering them. I was told that the left side one would block access to the in bed trailer connector.

I have one on the passenger side. Its is handy. There is not a good way to organize it for tools would be my only limiting factor. Its like a big bucket. I keep rachet straps, tow strap, gloves, and couple basic tools in mine. Screwdrivers, pliers, Knife, etc. The tools I carry fit in the small tray but that is about all it will hold. I wouldn't like it as a tool box for a bunch of tools but my intention was to carry my tie downs mainly.

It would block your plug but they come with a security key to lock them in place. I have always had some type of bed cover so i have never locked mine in place. They easily lift out. I take mine in and out all the time.

I have a Swing Case , it's okay but they really don't hold that much and like mentioned everything is just piled in there so not much organization. I actually took mine out and went back to a traditional cross bed box. It was also a pain to drop the tail gate every time I wanted something out of it.
