Sunroof leaking

Hello guys and girls,

So my 2020 ram 3500 Larime is leaking from the rear of the sunroof. Been an issue now for almost a year. Dealer has had the truck countless amount of times and has still been unable to remedy the situation.1st they adjusted the sunroof so that it would close tighter or at least that's what they told me. The 2nd time it went back they changed the seal around the glass along with cracking my windshield when they pulled it and reinstalled it(also had tinted the windshield so that was destroyed as well). 3rd time back they changed the windshield and replaced the sunroof glass along with seal. 4th time back they tried to adjust it again. 5th and 6th time now and they replaced everything sunroof glass seal assembly (got it home and operated the sun roof and guess what I couldnt get it to close properly so back to the dealer it wentafter a calibration it closed and opened think they would have tried this before calling me) . Well here we are today and it's raining here and it is like Niagara Falls inside my 85k truck. I am at my wit's end with this problem. Question is has anyone successfully had this problem remedied by the dealer or at all?

Have they checked the drains? Seems to be the most common issue and the first thing they check.

Yeah it's not the drains the sunroof is supposed to let some watering hence the drains but the amount of water in coming in my sunroof is unacceptable and they have changed every component that is associated with the sun roof. Some part multiple times.

Have all the other light and antenna penetrations been looked at? Perhaps one of them is leaking.

I was thinking that as well but I can clearly see that it is leaking from the rear drivers sunroof where the seal meets the roof line.

So update they sent it to there body shop and the body shop has no idea what to do with it. Back to the dealer to wait for a FCA rep to come out and make a decision.

Sorry to hear that. That’s why I don’t order sunroofs anymore. Been through that on two different brands of Vehicles.

Was flying down a dirt road with the last truck when a rock as big as a golf ball came through the sunroof, why I won't have anymore.

Sorry to hear your issue. I have heard numerous stories like yours so I buy my trucks minus sunroof.

My guess is there is something out of spec in terms of dimensions. Get the specs and measure yours….. thinking it will be off. That may get you closer to an answer to the problem.
