Stuck in Park

Since purchasing the truck new in 2019 I have had a problem with the shift sticking in park. Eventually I have to turn the engine off and restart it to get it into gear.
The dealer is unable to fix

2019 should still be under warranty tranny has a 5year/60,000 mile warranty seems like it could be a safety hazard.

I know this may seem silly, but if you leave your foot on the brake pedal longer than "X" seconds while in park, you must release the pedal then re-press to get the vehicle out of park.
I have released and pressed the brake pedal again. Sometimes it works and sometimes it doesn’t. Eventually I turn the ignition off and restart and than I can take it out of park.

Mines done this about 5x in 14kmi. Favorite was in line at the dump with trailer in tow. Shut down and restart has fixed/reset each time. I worked dealerships in my 20s. I already know what they'll say, C.N.F. - Can Not Confirm... Usually the CP4 is on my brain more than a sticky park mech so I guess I just let it go.

Thx. At least I’m not alone.

Sounds like the shifter interlock solenoid not working properly. If it does not actuate on brake press, you will not be able to shift out of park. Easy fix...

This problem bis always leaving your foot on the brake for an extended period of time...had that issue on my 2019 as well but after learning what caused it , problem solved.

Tell the dealer to leave their foot on the brake and see what happens.

It's actually a safety feature...

Mine has done it at first start up in shop and at work. No extended brake holds on either occasion. It feels more like a rough spot on park pawl than a solenoid. But I quit caring awhile ago. Maybe I'll bring it up at CP4 recall. But I personally would rather live with it then have the dealer in possession of my vehicle. Especially since it's only been a handful of times since 11/19. There's no way it will happen when they try to replicate issue. Then it gets kicked down the road but just after some greasy tech rubbed on my seats and some tweener used a gravel ridden wash MIT on my pretty paint. Pass. Ty.
