Stock sway bar

@Dwilly how are you liking it with no front sway bar after some miles? Been thinking of doing this when I go up 1”

Confront sway bar here either with 40k miles of towing and off-roading. Can’t see going any other way unless I had a slide in camper.

I would like to hear from someone with a fifth wheel and running without the front sway bar.

I’d also like to hear from a fifth wheel toter with no sway bars front and rear.

A 5th would handle better than a bumper pull and I have no problems with my bumper pull. It loads onto the sumo springs and handles great. I had the sumo springs before I deleted the rear swaybar so I don’t know about no rear without sumos.

I don’t have any issues with the 37ft 12k GVWR 5th wheel and no front bar. Just bought a newer 5thwheel today will see how it pulls when its ready in 2 weeks lol

I just towed the 5er (only 35’ and back to the stealership for its 2nd new roof - don’t ask) a short jaunt but couldn’t tell any real difference without the front SB, except those approaches are way less jostle. I kept the rear and also have bags for towing duty.

I have the Thuren swaybar off my 22 to install on my 17, but I’m tempted to try without the sway bar.

Almost all of our towing is on winding mountain roads, which is why I went with the Thuren for the 22.

I don’t have a front swaybar on my TJ and now that I have OME springs it’s excellent. With the stock springs it wasn’t stable and I almost put the bar back on after a few weeks. The ride is so much more compliant without the swaybar, but I don’t tow or haul anything besides a couple mountain bikes :p

@jsalbre have you towed to Stanley thru Idaho City without the swaybar?

I have, quite a bit. No concerns from me.
