I just noticed by buddies 2020 Mega SRW 3500, his step rails have a center bracket. My new 2022 Longhorn 3500 Dually does not! I think it should for better support. Anyone know the correct part numbers to order a set? I can see under the truck it has the holes for it already.

the brackets on that rail look pretty beefy. Does the step itself have an attachment point for another bracket? Does it flex under load?

The two factory brackets only have 1 screw in each one on the main bracket. Yes it’s already setup for a center bracket. I’m sure there is some flex now. I want the center bracket on mine, just need to figure out what part (s) #’s to order.

If his steps are factory just run his vin at the dealer parts dept and get the part number for them.

You say his is MC, yours isn't. His step should be longer, hence the 3rd bracket? Just a guess!;)

Crew cabs get 2 mounts not 3 and there is no need for 3. Im 250lbs and mine dont even flex you are fine

My 3500 has 3 mounts
