Stellantis (RAM) employees not getting a profit sharing check this year.....

True, Dodge and Jeep are primarily made in the US with US parts while SOme Dodge is made in Canada - exempt under USMCA

Chrysler is DEAD unless you want a mini van

Anyone buying a Maserati/Alfa Romero can afford the tariff.

Fiat wasn't probably selling well anyway in the US compared to other countries.

Opel isnt sold here.

Do people BUY Masi's amd Alfa's or just lease?

You are asking me? LOL I don't even know anyone that owns one. I do see them in Phoenix/Scottsdale area once in awhile. Depending on your options they are probably a $190K car.

Simple answer, oh well, nothing is guaranteed in profit sharing.

Longer Answer, Oh well...
Piss poor money management by the company, poor quality and cutting corners and costs at every turn with crazy record MSRP's to please their over inflated ego's lead to this and the failure of your company. Back in '08 with all the govt bailouts that never should have happened. Let these companies fall and enjoy their squandering of billions of dollars. "too big to fail" just a BS term used by people who didn't read their History books in school. Empires fail, most certainly an auto company can fail.

I listened to a pod cast that had Ford's CEO on it and listening to him talk during the interview it was filled with wild spending, also totally removed from understanding anything about the majority of the people that buy their product. Reminded me a lot of how politicians act mixed with Wolf of Wall Street.

I know that most of you have heard that Stellantis is BIG TIME in the red and has lost $26B dollars under the old CEO Carlos who drove this company into the ground. Now, for the first time, the workers will get no profit sharing checks because there was NO profit  My concern as I look to have a truck built, you would have to think the employees building these cars and trucks won't be happy campers. Will the build quality get worse since there may be a lack of "caring" on the factory workers part? Either way, it can't be good for morale or for those building our vehicles. If I was them, I may no longer give a $hit either and say screw it...it is what it is. Any thoughts?
The US car companies are all taking a financial hit. The previous administration offered and arm twisted for electric cars. Corruption by the green new deal. The previous guy was hired to suck up the cheap money. The cheap money is gone so he goes. Back to actually making cars to use the energy we actually have in plenty. The Stelantis team will be making money soon enough if they produce cars that can be sold and stay out of the shop.
