Trying to understand differences in the bed dimensions between the 6'4" standard beds on the 1500s vs 2500s. Documentation I have seen state the length & width are the same (76.3 x 66.4). Depth is 21.5 on 1500 & 20.2 on 2500 (although my 2500 depth at the tail gate measures 20.75). Is there any other differences? IE. wheel well placement front to back, or width between framing at the tail gate?

I am looking at a unique aftermarket cargo management/Tonneau cover system. Manufacturer lists it available for the 1500 but state it is not compatible with the 2500. Trying to understand the differences that makes in incompatible.

I'm looking for detailed dimensions as well. This image is from Tacomaworld (prior truck, ya ya ya, not my wife's truck), and below had all these dimensions and more. I'm specifically looking for measurement between front of bed and the front of the wheel arches, as well as that width so I can build a low profile storage box to fit under my stowed Peragon cover.

My new truck is due here in 3 weeks, and I'll get detailed numbers together.

I’m not sure exact numbers but I wouldn’t expect something designed to fit a fifth generation 1500 truck to fit a fourth generation 2500 truck.

The boxes are the same if you are talking 1500 classic if its not the classic its not the same

Have you asked the manufacturer?
