This drives me crazy. I had my local shop replace my brake rotors and pads. After a while they started to squeak. Since I leave for work at 3-4am and I'm a good neighbor ;) I decide to replace them again with what I could find locally that was the most premium it could be. Still after few hundreds miles they started to squeak. Is going with mopar my only option? Anyone experience same thing? 2020 Ram 2500 120K on it.

Did they bed the rotors and pads in?
Not sure if they did. But the second set I put in myself since I don't want to pay that labor again. I always bed brakes after installation.

Ive been a powerstop guy but last set I tried something new. i put dynamic friction geospec rotors + pad kit on my work truck and they’re great. Probably what I’ll put on the Ram, too.

Did you guys installed the drilled and slotted rotors?

I did not. I went with the Z23 kit with the geomet coated solid rotors because I felt they were more truck-ish. I have the drilled/slotted rotors on my Subaru. Happy with both applications.

Z23 rotors are drilled and slotted. Maybe you mean Z17?

Nope. Evolution pads and stainless hardware….minus the fancy rotors. I pieced it together on RockAuto so technically not a “kit” I suppose.
