Sport pkg w/ chrome hooks

I've been contemplating the age old question. To chrome hook or to not chrome hook, with your fully painted (sport pkg ) front end. Those of you that follow me know, that about a few weaks ago , I took ownership of my beast of a build. You can read in my bio all the goodies and gadgets. The last mod I'm considering doing is swapping the black tow hooks for a pair of chrome hooks. I know everyone has seen the chrome pkg out there , ( so please don't post those images) but I want people to post some pics of your all painted sport pkg, ( not just painted bumpers) with your addition of chrome hooks. I just don't know if the chrome hooks would go with the classy all paint or clash. My younger cow boy / farm truck days are over , ( of wich I've had both), but I'm after the all classy look now. And yes I've tried the suggestion of wrapping them in aluminum foil to see if it grew on me. Definitely did not like the tin can look. So again, please post pics of sport pkg ( not just painted bumpers) with your chrome hooks mod.

Oh my , got all mighty, dude can't believe you took your time to do that for me, thank you very much. That's a sweet side by side comparison. I'm not sure how you did it, but I know theres more tech savvy folks than me and they can do some cool stuff. I honestly think you have made up both my wife and my minds. I definitely think it looks better chrome, still classy, more of a limited look, obviously w/o the grill but I'm happy with the Laramie grill. I think I might be ordering those pretty soon. Still can't believe nobody else out there has done that configuration. Thanks Mike, we appreciate you taking your time for us. ;)

I don't know how he did it, but that was pretty damn cool. that sounds kind of like my wife though, she keeps saying to me, why did we spend 85k for me to chop shop it up with another 5k of accessories.

I'm happy if that helped you. Took me like 10 minutes, that's all. Needed to merge 3 images together: Laramie sport package as your base truck, Laramie chrome package for the side step and Longhorn for the chrome hooks.

Same here, she said I thought you built the perfect truck, why do we have to change it. I told her , there is no perfect but she was the best build for us to make even better. I don't think our wives find us humorous . She keeps asking, when are all these accessories going to stop. :D

+1 for MikeXMs comments - go buy them Rich...you know you want to. Let’s see a pic after you put them on. I would say don’t order them from the same place you ordered your bed cover though.. ;)

Check out the below thread, about halfway down where SCRAMHD took a Limited with lots of chrome and turned it into a better looking than stock Sport Appearance package BUT..left the chrome tow hooks. His project turned out amazing.

Nice, thats pretty sweet looking. I'm probably going to order em. Were not going to be at our current location for to much longer so probably a little ways down the rd. But I like the look. Thanks kimo

No disrespect bro, but read the intro. Question was for those who have the all painted front end ( sport pkg) about adding the chrome hooks and to post pics. We all know the chrome PKG has them. Sweet looking rig though.
