Bit the bullet and put the 23/24 sport hood on my 22 RAM 2500 with halogen headlites. Yes it does fit with no issues. Bought the hood, emblems ,scoop , hood insulators and all hardware for factory type install . Very happy !

I like the looks of it a lot. Any way to make the vents/scoop functional heat extractors?
The hood did not come painted, hood , emblems, hood insulators, hardware came in at $1300, body guy did paint & install for $600.

I am on the verge of doing this. I have read that it's possible the "scoop" can let water into the engine bay. To my understanding it's not functional, so I don't see how water could enter the hood. Before I pull the trigger, can you confirm if it is possible for water to enter the scoop?
It has been raining here for the last 3 days and have driven the truck in the rain and washed it many times since the hood install. If you look at the underside of the hood you can see a few dryed water spots, very, very minor, nothing in the engine compartment just on underside of hood ,could wipe them away with cloth and never know. There are 2 small drains in each side of the center scoop, smaller than a pea and when I converted from regular hood to sport hood the insulation on the under side of the hood is different. The regular hood has a one piece insulaltor that covers the under side and the sport hood is a 2 piece unsulator with the center portion open to the sheet metal under the hood. So, yes water can get in but, it is so minute it is not of corncern for me and I will keep an eye on it.

The old hood filled up with water so it can’t be any worse than that

In the red circles there is daylight visible and the long edges don't look particularly water tight. However, looking at my engine bay, it doesn't appear to be suffering any.
The four rectangular holes allow engine heat to exit through the side vents of the hood, so there's a (possible) benefit that could outweigh the downside of the fake vent. Besides, if it really bothered me, I'd simply seal it up.

Crazy that the holes are there. But they don't make the hood any less cool by any stretch
I am in the middle of moving , so all the invoices are packed away somewhere. I can post them when i get settled but that will be a few weeks. Everything is separate, you need to buy the hood, front scoop, right and left side emblems, underhood insulation, which is 2 pieces on the sport hood and the bolts to attach scoop and side emblems, I think there was 8.
