Sparkplugs??

I have just over 78K miles on my 6.4 and I I want to change the sparkplugs.

What are good sparkplugs for the 6.4?

Also, how long do the coils last?

Why not go with the mopar brand that is in there, they lasted for you all this time. If you are looking for performance smart coils then RIPP has some for the HEMI.

I am just starting to plan the job and wonder what others have done. The factory ones have worked good.

I am not planning on swapping the coils it just for information.

Has anyone noticed when a decline in performance is noted?

I've noticed a drop in MPG and more pinging at low RPMs. I don't know if it's just that its cooler here or if they are using a winter blend fuel or if it is my sparkplugs with almost 80K miles on them.

I did mine just over 60,000 miles (105,000km ish) and noticed a big difference in response and mileage came back up. I’m running 91 all the time and it seems the truck likes it. The replacements I put in were the same Champion iridium’s that were in it from factory.

The hemis love the Champion Iridiums they always have worked best with them
