Just got my equipment listing and it shows the standard equipment spare tire as 18". I did option the 20" wheels, will I get a 20" spare or is the 18" steel what ships with all 2500's?

It'll likely be steel. Of either the same diameter wheel/tire or a smaller wheel with larger tire to equal the overall diameter of the stock wheel/tire

My PW came with 285/70/17 and has a steel 17" wheel with a stock size tire.

Getting the full size spare these days is very dependent on the model and options for the vehicle. Most vehicles come with the "getcha home" wheel.

Not sure I've seen a truck with a "getcha home" spare. They have to be capable of the payload.

Both of my 1500's had the donut. I had to go find a full size steel wheel and tire to put under the truck.
Interesting. Just traded in a 2018 1500...it had a full size spare.

Did you get the equipment listing before the build is done?

They all get 18s except for the PW and duallys the tire is the same overall height
