I would use a thin walled socket vs impact....an impact may be too thick so make sure you try one first before you actually need one.

Hello all, another update.

Went to DLR and SA said that he is waiting on a response from Area Manager. (He said this last time, but its fine, he is on my side). So we will see. He says he feels Ram should provide me a new wheel and a thin wall socket. So we will see what happens.

Again all, I know this is not a lot, but when I pay over 90k for a truck....and the spare tire lug nut wrench RAM provided damaged the wheel I feel I should I at least get a new wheel or have it repaired.

I agree with you. The freaking bottle jack is a joke and it was rusted out. I mean come on.

I’ve got a set of thin wall, non marring sockets and a breaker bar that I keep with me. Feel your pain though.

Tell dealer to swap with another NE limited and file a claim with FCA for a damaged wheel.

The one in my 04.5 had been used to change more tires than I care to remember, mostly RV tires until I started putting on tires not made in China, though the pit stops were not always for me.
