Heya everybody!

'11 3500 Dually, used to tow my trailers around, has a Southbend dual disk clutch kit in it, installed in 2020, after the old southbend kit that came with the truck gave out. In 2021, the master cylinder started leaking, so i replaced it with a new kit (You can only get it as a complete kit).

Well, today, i noticed that this one is leaking as well...

Reached out to Southbend to see if they have a updated version or anything like that and just received a one sentence answer.

At this point i'm not super thrilled to drop another (close to) 400 bucks on another kit just for it to die again with 3-4 years. Has anybody had success with a different kit or had to deal with a similar issue?

Might be mad enough at this point to rip out the whole southbend stuff and go with something else, lol. What's the general consensus on clutch kits for towing, delete but barely any more power, trucks?

Thank you very much!

I had a similar experience with my 2008. When I sold the truck I believe I was on the 3rd set of hydraulics. I’m not sure if it’s a design issue or what but there shouldn't be failures like that.
