Hey everyone new here so apologies if this is the wrong place.

I have a a 22 6.7 4500. I've done a bit of research about genuine and counterfeit fuel filters and I'm looking for a bit more info. I know Geno's garage is a reputable source but the frame mount fuel filter is currently back ordered. I've gotten filters from eBay before and they didn't strike me as obviously fake but I'm not completely convinced. $70-80 for both fuel filters vs $60-70 for each from Geno's, seems to fall into "too good to be true". Is it possible to find genuine filters from US based sellers on eBay? I trust Amazon even less. Listing will say official Mopar store and then in the details the actual seller will be some random xyz merchant.

I've seen people mention buying from Mopar dealers selling on eBay? I wasn't able to find any. Does anyone have any experience with this option or know of any that have filters available. If not, what's a reputable source besides Geno's?

Based off the price point and how established the seller is would it be safe to say these are genuine filters?

I get mine from here. Never had an issue. My first set I was very skeptical just in case. They’re $120 for the set.

Bought both for 119 and 12 shipping from Dieselfiltersonline.com. Worked well for 15 k . Said genuine . I had no problems .

Thanks that's exactly what I was looking for. I ended up ordering 2 sets from that eBay link I posted above but I'll probably be getting those pretty soon. This is one of our hotshot trucks that does about 100k miles a year so pretty frequent oil changes.

Sounds good. That eBay link seems legit, it can just be hard to trust on there. I’ve ordered from diesel filters online for quite a while. I keep two sets on hand for the most part just in case, but I haven’t had issues with them not having stock.

Any local dealership?

These guys are good too

I am not sure how many Active Duty or retired vets we have in here but Genos offers 10% off. They apply it to your account so no need to ask for the discount every order. Also, for what its worth they have fantastic customer service.

Buy from Geno’s and keep a set on the shelf. That keeps the backordered filters from causing an issue.
