Sorry for the million questions. Oil burn and new?

Just did my second oil change at 10k the other day and mine hasn't burned anything since new. I keep it in the middle of the safe zone. First change was done at about 2250 miles so just about 8k on this interval. I could never go 15k, it'd kill me inside. (Totally understand the ^above of its a work tool, but for most of us that drive 12k a year, two oil changes per year is cheap and easy)

This is also off topic but unless you have a physical limitation why are some of ya paying $200 at a dealer? It takes 45min (because I'm slow) in my garage, no lift or jacks needed. $50 for Rotella T6 after rebate and $12 for a Mopar filter....

You can get wix xp at rock auto for $6 bucks a piece. Did you find that it takes more like 6 quarts to fill your 6.4? If i put 7 in its over the top mark.

Not sure if this was directed at me? I have a 6.7 so I go by gallons of oil not quarts lol. I used just under 3 this time, a full 3 would have taken me to to the top of the safe area on the stick.

I also have a 5.7L 1500 and takes 7L on the dot to fill it all the way up on the stick. Reminds me I actually need to change that oil in that thing soon.

Man, wrong thread, I shouldn’t be allowed to post before coffee, or during beer.
